Code of Ethics 

 

• Respect- I will respect others by being on time and meeting set deadlines.  

• Kindness- I will always treat those around me with kindness because that is how I like to be treated.  

• Truth- I will always seek to tell the truth and not spread false information as false information is damaging to the media profession.  

• Growth- I will seek to constantly be learning from those around me. There is always room for improvement, and I love learning new skills.  

• Mentorship- I will seek to learn from someone with more experience than me and I will be available to help those around me in areas that I can offer my expertise.  

• Joy- I will seek to make the workplace an enjoyable environment, making sure everyone feels welcome and valued.  

• Interest- I will make sure the work I am doing is something I am passionate about so that I can put forth my best work.  

• Attitude- I will do my best to keep a positive attitude in all situations.  

• Listening- I will make sure those around me feel valued by listening and welcoming ideas and opinions that are different from my own.

• My personal code of ethics holds high seeking the truth and being considerate of those around me. I believe that the spread of false information is damaging to the media profession. I also believe that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. I believe the workplace should be an environment where we as humans get to grow our skills and knowledge while doing the things we are passionate about.
